My Wishlist

Hey guys, today I will be showing you my wishlist! These are the things that I want to buy next and add to my collection bit by bit!

Make up forever Ultra HDStick
After having tried the make up forever HD foundation and loving it, I hear everyone and there mother raving about the stick foundation! I absolutely love the other make up forever foundation so I definitely want to give this one ago. Stick foundations are becoming quite popular again and I would also love to try the hourglass one too!

Chocolate bar Too Faced palette
wanted this palette for so long and after seeing that makeup Revolution did cheaper knockoffs if you will I thought I would settle my need for this palette by buying them. After purchasing the Makeup revolution one I'm just not a fan and I love the formula of toofaced shadows in general so I think I'm just gonna buy the bullet and buy this one!

Becca Champagne Pop
This has been on my wishlist for so long and I also had the chance to buy it when I was recently in america and I'm gutted I didn't pick it up! Literally as soon as I got home I wanted to kick myself. I have swatched it and the pigmentation is gorgeous so I definitely need it in my life!

Products I Regret Buying

Doing posts like these aren't always my favourite as I do appreciate that brands work hard to bring something that they think is good but doesn't always deliver. With each of these products I have tried and tried to use but each time I am disappointed.

Mac studio fix fluid
With this foundation it isn't really a product complaint it's just that I regret buying it because of how it reacts to my skin. I love this foundation and I think that it has such good coverage and lasts such a long time, but anytime I put it on my skin even if it just for 20 minutes it gives me the most painful break out the next day its like my skin can't tolerate it at all!

Kylie Jenner Lipkit
I know, I know! I wanted to love this so so badly, firstly because it was so hard to get hold of and secondly because of the customs charge I was hit with when I collected it from the post office. This liquid lipstick was so so drying I can't even tell you. It peeled of my lips at the centre within an hour of having it on and I hadn't eaten any food or drunk anything the whole time I had it on. It goes in to such a hot mess I don't even want to wear it for even a couple of hours anymore. The lip liners are to die for and are so so creamy but unfortunately you can't buy them on their own so the kit is definitely not worth the money.

No7 Intense Volume Mascara
Having loved quite a few of their mascaras I decided to pick this one up as I was intrigued by the intense volume statement as I love me some volume! The wand on this mascara is nice but I feel like it was so disappointed and barely even lifted my lashes let alone left them volumised, I don't know whether I got a dud one but it literally won't even do anything.

Maxfactor Excess Shimmer
This is a cream formula to put on the lid and leave a beautiful shimmer, they are a bit like the maybelline colour tattoo's but this formula is a lot more thicker and creamier which is the problem. I brought two of these in the colours copper and crystal but these just crease on me instantly and I feel like the slide all around my lids. They feel sticky and definitely not what I was looking for!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation Review!

Hey guys, so today I thought I would do a review on a foundation which I have been absolutely loving and thought i'd share with you. It is the revlon colourstay foundation and I had first brought this foundation quickly when I had a spray tan and none of my other foundations matched me. I was so happy with it I went back and brought another one in my normal colour for when I didn't have a spray tan.

Firstly the bottle is just simple you get a reasonable amount of product in there 30ml which I think is the normal amount for most foundations and I really like the fact that there is a pump as its easy to get the product out and isn't messy at all. I have the colour buff which is the second to light I think as I am quite pale and the one that is for normal to dry skin as I do have quite dry patches.

I do find with this foundation that it does last all day if you set it and it gives a beautiful finish, it does say that it lasts for 24 hours on the skin but I think you could get a good 14 hours of wear before it starts to go a little down hill. It feels so lightweight on the skin even though the coverage is definitely full.

This foundation is really easy to blend out when I used it with my beauty blender although I haven't tried to use it with a stippling brush so the coverage could be a bit too heavy when using a brush as I know a beauty blender sheers it out a little bit.

Overall I love this foundation although there are a things I don't like as it has an SPF 20 in it, it would be perfect in the summer or on holiday but not great for flash photography as it would give the white cast look. It also does crack a little bit in my smile lines so I have to make sure I set with powder straight away and also keep topping up throughout the day which I do most of the time anyway so it isn't the biggest deal. I would definitely say this foundation is worth it and one of the best drugstore foundation I have ever tried. For £12.99 you can't really go wrong!

New Maybelline Goodies

Hey guys! So the other day I popped into boots as I was craving some good old new drugstore products. Initially I only needed a mascara, but being the total lip junkie that I am I got a little bit carried away.  All the products had a little sign up saying they were new so I thought I would share with you what I got!

Firstly I did pick up the new mascara, it's the falsies push up angel. I had decided to try it out after I saw the advert for it on the tele and the wand really caught my eye. Having been using the too faced better than sex mascara for so long (I still love it to death) I wanted to give something a bit different ago. The wand on this mascara is definitely a lot different and not like the standard brush you would usually get on a mascara but the new design is meant to grab the lashes and push them up! I havent tried it yet but I am definitely excited to!

Secondly I picked up the new browprecise fiber filler. Whenever I see a brand come out with a new brow gel which has fibers in it I cannot say no! I'm obsessed with anything like this product and I'm constantly using benefit gimme brow but after seeing this I thought I would give this one a try. I got my colour in medium brown as I love a statement brow.

Lastly as I previously mentioned I am a complete lip junkie and cannot go in and buy something from the drugstore and not purchase a new lipstick even though I definitely do not need any more. I am a complete sucker for a matte lip so the two lipsticks I picked up are the matte ones and I already have a few of these from maybelline and I absolutely love the formula. The two shades I got was brown sugar which is a sort of brown/purple colour and also smokey rose which is a beautiful darker nude with a pick undertone. I can't wait to try these out either.

Haulin' with Anastasia Beverly Hills

After picking up a few Anastasia products when I went over to America, I was hooked! I came home and immediately wanted to order more, it was then that I realised that a lot of products you wasn't able to get hold of in the UK. I was gutted. However recently Anastasia launched a UK website and I was so thrilled I couldn't resist a cheeky order!

Modern Renaissance Palette
If there is one thing you should get from the brand it should be this eye palette! I am OBSESSED. It's beautiful, the colours in the palette are right up my street. There are fourteen different eyeshadows in there ranging from shimmery to matte so there is such a variety you can create so many different looks. The shadows themselves are so so buttery and probably one of the best quality eyeshadows I have tried (trust me, I have tried a lot).

Moon Child Glow Kit

I was umming and arring over which glow kit to buy as I had heard she had changed the formula on the ultimate glow kit and it wasn't as great. I decided to venture out and go to the deep end and purchase moon child, which looks so scary when you look at it. Why would you want a purple highlighter you say? All the highlighters are beautiful and are really great for anyone who wants to experiment. I would just say as a warning it can emphasise pores depending on how much you are putting on.

They are both absolutely stunning and amazing quality, I couldn't imagine my make up collection without them.

Bronze Godess - Estée Lauder

So I was debating this purchase for a while after thinking 'Another bronzer, do you really need it?' Obviously the answer was no but I still couldn't resist.

Honestly, I am in lurrrrrrrrrv with this bronzer. So much so, I take it everywhere with me. I am a bit of freak when I go on holiday and I refuse to get any sun on my face as I hate the thought of a sunburnt face, so while the rest of my body tans away my face remains white. So of course when I come back I need something to bronze it up a little.

THIS, this is the one. It isn't a matte bronzer but I feel like I can apply this all over my face and I don't get the annoying glitter specs popping up here there and everywhere it just gives a subtle glow. I also don't get that 'muddy' look, which as a pale girl is sometimes not that hard to dodge. The packaging is exactly what I need as there's more than enough bronzer there and the mirror inside is everything and perfect for traveling.

£32 is a bit steep for a bronzer I know but if you are willing to splurge this will definitely not disappoint it's stunning and I could even go as far to say that I love it more than my Nars laguna (which I have loved to death!). This could even be my new holy grail!

40 Beauty Questions TAG

This is a tag that I saw floating around so I thought I would give it a go as my much favourite posts to do are TAGS!

How many times a day do you wash your face?
I wash my face in the morning and before I go to bed but if I am going to be reapplying my make up for something I will wash it then.

What skin type do you have?
My skin has an act for confusing me sometimes, normally I would say dry but recently I have been getting a slight oily forehead on occasions so I guess that means combination.

Whats your current facial wash?
It is the Elemis FreshSkin skin clear purifying facial wash but this is literally on its last legs and I probably only have a few more washes, it was okay but I think I would try to find a cheaper alternative.

Do you exfoliate?
Yes, I use the St Ives gentle daily exfoliant and I love it, I use it daily because it really is gentle enough to use.

What Brand do you use?
Oops, answered this already, I use the St Ives one.

What moisturiser do you use?
I use the Olay beauty fluid which I have mentioned before which is also okay but I am on the hunt for a better one!

Do you have freckles?
I do have freckles but they are so much more visible in the summer time, I don't really mind them.

Do you use eye cream?
As bad as this sound as I am a beauty blogger I don't actually wear an eyecream, I always say I am going to use one and then forget!

Do you have acne prone skin?
No, I am quite lucky when it comes to spots but when I do get a spot it is gross, under the skin, red, swollen, yeah, you know the ones. Gross.

What foundation do you use?
Well right now because I have just come back off holiday I am using MAC studio fix fluid which I am not keen on but usually I would use MAC pro longwear which I love.

Do you know your undertone colour?
Pinkish.

What do you think of false lashes?
I love how they look but they would do my head in wearing them daily so I only wear them occasionally.

Did you know that your supposed to change your mascara every three months?
Oops, I thought it was six haha! But I normally use it up well before three anyway.

What brand of mascara do you use?
Rimmel or Maybelline

Sephora or MAC
We don't have a Sephora in the UK so it would definitely have to be MAC

Do you have a MAC pro card
Nope!

What make up tools do you use on a daily basis
Apart from brushes, either tweezers or eyelash curlers and a make up sponge

Do you use make up base/primer
Yep, I use benefits pore-fessional which I absolutely love.

Do you use an eyeshadow base?
Yes, either urban decays primer potion or MACs paintpot in Painterly

What is your favourite eyeshadow?
I don't have a specific one but I love the whole of the Naked 2 palette

Do you prefer pencil or liquid liner?
Definitely liquid liner but then I do like pencil if I want a more softer look

How often do you poke your eye with eyeliner?
Never really, I am used to it now.

What do you think of pigment eyeshadow?
I don't really own any pigment eyeshadows so I don't really have an opinion on them!

Do you use mineral make up?
No, but I have heard that it looks good.

What is your favourite lipstick?
Probably creme cup by MAC

How about lipgloss?
I wont lie, I am not much of a fan of lipgloss

What is your favourite blush?
I am going to be really helpful and tell you that my favourite blush is by an unknown brand with an unknown name but its a gorgeous peachy pink colour and it is perfect for summer

Do you ever buy make up from eBay?
Nope never, I don't think I ever will either

Do you like drugstore make up?
Yes, like I love drugstore mascaras and lip products but I am not really a fan of any drugstore foundations and would rather pay more for a better one.

Do you go to CCO's (Cosmetic Company Outlets)
Nope.

Do you ever consider taking Make up classes?
I study make up artistry at college, but I would love to go and do a five week course up in London somewhere.

Are you clumsy at putting makeup on?
When I first put on make up, DEFINITELY, but now I would like to think I was not too bad haha.

Name a makeup crime you hate?
Definitely has to be when someone has foundation lines and there foundation does not match them whatsoever! Really grinds my gears ha!

Do you prefer colourful or neutral makeup?
It depends on where I am going but 99% of the time I would say neutral although I do like to go quite colourful on the lips.

Which celebrity has good makeup?
Kind of a no brainer, definitely all of the Kardashians, its perfect all the time!

If you could only leave the house wearing one item what would it be?
I think it would have to be mascara, because it has the ability to make you look a little bit more awake when really you are not.

Could you ever wear no makeup?
Most of the time I do not wear makeup to college or work, so I am going to say yes. But if you mean not wear it forever then I would say no.

Do you think you look good without makeup on?
No not at all, I am really conscious about my skin because I have quite a lot of scaring around my cheeks and chin area and I hate my dark circles.

Best makeup line?
Definitely Nars, I love everything by them. Then probably MAC.
