My Shower Essentials

So for today's post I thought I would share with you all my shower essentials.

OSMO deep moisturising Shampoo & Conditioner

Having picked the massive 1000ml bottles up from sally's I wasn't sure if I was going to write about them as I didn't want to write about something that wasn't available for everyone but having searched online they are available to buy. This shampoo and conditioner has lasted me 7 weeks! Which is crazy to me as my mum (who uses it too) washes her hair everyday and I use it every other day. It is super nourishing and leaves my hair so so so soft which as you can imagine as a blonde it isn't always easy. It does not leave build up in my hair and the smell of it literally smells of summer, not a very good description I know! Since having these I have gone out and brought the hair oil!

St Ives Apricot Scrub in gentle

This scrub has been an absolute life saver for the dry patches on my skin! As we haven't had the best weather my skin has been having a lot of dry patches and this gets rid of them. It makes my foundation go on so smoothly and also leaves my face glowing which I love, it is also gentle enough to use every single day!

The Sanctuary Body Wash and Body exfoliator

I picked both of these products in boots and they are extremely affordable. I love the body wash as it has little bubbles of sesame oil and jojoba in it aswell which makes your skin so soft and silky which I love. The exfoliator is great to remove dead skin cells on the skin and also leave skin soft and hydrated as I cannot stand having dry skin.

YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation

Having had the flu and not leaving the house for three days straight it forced me to online shop. After years of sticking to what I know and using the same pro-long wear foundation from MAC I was getting bored and desperately wanted to switch it up.

Having browsed from every brand you can think of, NARS, Illamasqua, Estee Lauder, Benefit I visited the site feelunique.com (which has now become my new favourite site) I saw this for £36.00, pricey I know but I couldn't resist and as it is Yves Saint Laurent I didn't expect anything less.

I love the packaging to the foundation and I think it is classy and timeless and I absolutely love the fact that it has a pump! The coverage of this foundation is medium to high and I definitely feel that it is build-able, it gives a nice satin finish and also a beautiful glow and everytime I have worn this foundation I have been complimented on my skin which always makes a girl feel good. The lasting power of this foundation is great and lasted throughout the day although I did not do any exercise or activity which would really test it. The foundation has a scent to it which I will say I am not a massive fan of but once dried on the face you can no longer smell it.The foundation does have an SPF of 20 in it so if you was to go to an event with flash photography I wouldn't advise this foundation as it would give you that white cast.

Overall I would really recommend this foundation as it has a beautiful finish that gives your skin a glow. The last power is great and I love the coverage that it gives, I would happily wear this foundation on a day to day basis.

Back to blogging

I think it would be absolutely fair to say that recently I have been shocking when it has come to blogging! I don't have any excuse to explain my absence but I am back for good now.

Things have changed since I was last on the blogasphere, having completed two years of beauty therapy level 2 & 3 at college I then decided to go back and study make up artistry as my dream job would be to be a make up artist, having thought this was a good decision at the time I quickly realized come December that although this was the exact career path I wanted to go down, the teachers and the course was so badly run I couldn't stand to be there any longer and left. Although quitting is not something that I enjoy doing because I like to see something through to the end, this I could not. I picked up more hours up and my part time job and I am planning on saving and doing an intensive make up course!

I am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!
